Monkey Point Kasauli
Monkey Point is the highest place in Kasauli and a special tourist destination. It is said about this place that Hanuman Ji set his foot here while searching for medicinal herbs for the injured Lakshman in the Indian epic Ramayana. Monkey Point offers the most fascinating views of the entire valley and enchanting views of the snow-capped peaks of the Himalayas.
The most special thing about this place is that the hilltop is one foot in shape. This place is managed and operated by the Indian Air Force and you will need a special permit to go here. There is a small temple at the top of the hill dedicated to Lord Hanuman around which you will find many monkeys.
