International Dolls Museum Chandigarh
The International Dolls Museum located in Bal Bhawan of Sector 23 is operated by the Indian Council of Child Welfare, Chandigarh. It was founded in 1985 with a focus on children’s entertainment. It has an interesting collection of dolls and puppets. These dolls belong to more than 25 countries including Germany, Spain, Korea, Denmark, Netherlands and Russia. There is a separate section for Indian dolls. The dolls in it are wearing traditional costumes from different states. The dress of these dolls is such that it looks like the story of a legend, which is the biggest feature of this International Doll Museum.
There is also a toy-train for entertainment, from which you can roam different sections of the museum. Although this museum is open seven days, but due to the holiday on Sunday, a large number of children come here. Although there is nothing special here for the elders, still you can roam it if you want.
