Kasauli is more famous hill station near Chandigarh as compared to Morni Hills. This place is located in Himachal Pradesh. The distance is 67 kilometers and travel time is two hours. The first 50 kms is common with Shimla and from Dharampur there is left turn for Kasauli. The weather here is more pleasant than of Morni hills as this place is at a higher altitude. Parwanoo near Chandigarh

This is the nearest place to Chill out from Chandigarh. This is located just 30 kilometers from Chandigarh on the Chandigarh Shimla national highway. The newly built bye-pass road from Pinjore to Parwanoo has eased out the traffic congestion. This place is one hours drive from Chandigarh. The Timber trail resort and rope way is the main attraction of this place. The rope-way takes you to the hilltop which has a resort and restaurant.
