Dharamshala Weather in July Month
The Dharamshala, known as the Dalai Lama habitat and large Tibetan settlements in India, is a small hill station situated atop the Dhauladhar mountain range in the Kangra Valley of Himachal Pradesh. Dharamshala has many places for tourists to visit. And Dharamshala is also a holiday destination in July and one of the best times to visit. You can get respite from the hot and humid weather of the plains. As the hill slopes receive water, grass and other seasonal flowers start growing and make the area green. It may be times the incessant rains may not allow tourists to step out of the hotel and enjoy the scenic beauty of Dharamshala in the natures lap.
From July to September Dharamshala witnesses monsoon. The average temperature during monsoons ranges from 18 o c -22 o c. Heavy ceaseless downpours quenches the thirsty earth after two months of hot summer. The seasonal waterfalls, natural springs, rivers and ponds blush and get flooded with a renewed and recharged spirit. Due to the hilly area, the water does not fill the Dharamshala, the water drains quickly. There may be small landslides in the rainy season but there is no disruption in rail and road traffic.
Monsoon time the sky is always clouded and mist and fog can be seen over deep gorges and hill tops. The visibility of mountains, hills and forests is impaired due to mist and fog. This offers a unique view not found in the plain areas.
