Manali is located at an altitude of 1950 meters above sea level in the state of Himachal Pradesh. It is the first choice of tourists and is the hill station where tourists come most. Best way to go to Manali from Delhi

For this you will first have to take a train from New Delhi to Chandigarh and then a bus to Manali. Manali can also be reached by air. But there is no airport in Manali. The distance from Delhi to Manali is about 540 km. The route from Delhi to Manali goes via Chandigarh-Bilaspur and Mandi. This route is completed through National Highway-1 and National Highway-21. It takes 12-14 hours to reach Manali by road from Delhi.

Best way to go to Manali from Chandigarh/ Kalka

Chandigarh to Manali distance is 288 km.  If you want to go to Manali by road than you can take private cab or bus form Chandigarh/ Kalka bus stand.  There are private and government run buses from Chandigarh to Manali. There are ordinary, semi-deluxe and Volvo buses, which run both in the morning and night hours.  The distance from Chandigarh to Manali is covered in 9-10 hours.
